First, to give the people a choice because there was no one running against the incumbent. Besides that, ending corruption in Goodhue County, protecting citizens and deputies Constitutional rights, protecting my deputy’s minds, bodies and souls, fighting fraud and using taxpayer money conservatively and efficiently. Promoting cooperation and collaboration with other LEOs and agencies and not dividing them starting by keeping the RWPD at the LEC and not wasting Red Wing taxpayer money having to build another police department building.
I want to keep and build more cooperation and relationships with local PDs like Red Wing and work with them more closely. I would also like to work with larger organizations outside the county such as ICE to keep our county safer.
I want to protect my citizens' constitutional right to protect themselves, especially when it comes to the second amendment. I want the sheriff's office to be a force for good that protects citizens' rights, not limits them.
I want to make Goodhue County a place where criminals are afraid to come to commit crimes. I want any gangs, drug dealers, or just common criminals to think twice before coming here to do what they do.
